This question is easy to answer: “To prevent typical days in a company!”. But what do such typical days look like?

A typical day:

First updated employees 1. The price lists for your products in an Excel list. When the work is done, the new price list is sent to all sales employees. Unfortunately has employees 2. Don’t read this email and make the customer an offer with the old price list on his computer. The net loss for the company is substantial and you, the management, are slowly starting to get in a bad mood.

The next thing you need from employee 3. is to hold the current statement of figures and costs for a product group and to hold an important meeting. Unfortunately, the numbers are a bit out of date and have a few white spots. Your bad mood grows.

Employee 4. has again not followed the prescribed procedure when creating a new customer. You realize too late that no payment for your product is to be expected from this “customer”. Your mood is heading towards a climax.

And you are still waiting for the new budget for the large customer project. And you wait … and you wait …

Now there are 2 options:

You could distribute warnings with a big bang and throw out half of the workforce, or you could think about purchasing an ERP system. This would make these typical days a thing of the past. And let’s be honest, most of the time the blame is not on your employees, but on the way work is done and which systems support it.

How can ISCOM support us?

Now that it has been clarified why an ERP system is necessary, it should still be clarified how ISCOM can support you .

There are well over 200 ERP systems in German-speaking countries. Each with its own advantages and disadvantages as well as areas of application. And that’s only half the truth. Most companies don’t adopt a bare ERP system. Rather, these are supplemented by human resources and DMS systems. You have to take a look at these markets first. Fortunately we exist:

  • We’ll help you choose
    • Preselection of the systems and modules that come into question. The selection here is process-based. We can also help with the establishment of a process landscape.
    • Check whether further systems, such as DMS or HR, are required.
    • Checking connections and interfaces. For example, is there a web shop that needs to be fed with data?
    • A catalog of requirements is then created from all these points.
    • Assistance with the selection

  • We help with the implementation:
    • Support in project creation including time, resources and controlling.
    • Support with project management or, if required, takeover of this.
    • Project controlling
    • Process optimization
    • Strategy consulting

  • We support the acceptance:
    • Test planning
    • Generation of test cases
    • Support in setting up acceptance conditions
